Unwind is a stockist of Oway — Organic Way in downtown Toronto. The range sits on the shelf at our head spa and facial studio on the second floor of 317 King Street West, in King West between John and Peter.
Every product is available to buy online and collect in store. We do not currently ship, so everything here is pickup at the studio.
Where to buy Oway in Toronto
Oway is a professional line. It is made in Italy and sold through salons and spas rather than pharmacies or department stores, so the places to buy it in Toronto are limited and most carry only a handful of items from one or two ranges.
We carry 45 products across the full range — hair baths, masks, scalp treatments, styling, skincare and men’s grooming — because we use them in the treatment room. Everything on this page is something our therapists work with on real scalps and real skin.

Why we chose Oway
Oway calls itself an agricosmetic brand: the plants behind the formulas are grown biodynamically at Ortofficina, the company’s own farm, and blended in Italy. Packaging is glass and aluminium rather than plastic, which is unusual in professional hair care and part of why we were interested in the first place.
What decided it for us was the scalp range. A Japanese head spa lives or dies on how a scalp responds over the following week, and Oway gave us a purifying lotion for a dry flaky scalp and a different one for an oily one, rather than a single product asked to do both.
Oway and the head spa
If you have had a head spa with us, the products your therapist used on you are in this range. Ask which ones at the end of your treatment — the honest answer is usually one or two, not five.
The scalp lotions and the Comforting Scalp Oil are the ones that extend the result at home. The hair baths matter less than people expect; if your current shampoo is not causing a problem, we will tell you to keep it.
A note on sizes
Some items are listed in 950 ml and 500 ml, which are professional back-bar sizes rather than bathroom-shelf sizes. They are genuinely available to buy if you go through a lot of a product, but for most people the 240 ml is the right one. If you are unsure which you are looking at, ask us before you order.

Not at present. All orders are in-store pickup at our Toronto studio.
Is Oway sold in stores or only online?
Oway is a professional line sold through salons and spas rather than general retail, which is why you will not find it in pharmacies or department stores.
Is Oway good for a sensitive or flaky scalp?
It is the reason we carry it. There are separate purifying products for dry and for oily scalp conditions, plus a soothing range for reactive scalps. Which one is right depends on what your scalp is actually doing, so ask rather than guess.
Do I need an appointment to buy products?
No. You can come in during studio hours to buy or collect an order. If you want your scalp looked at first, book a head spa.
